Data from sql database for Android App -


i building fun facts app project , want access sql database. sql database has 1500 rows, want random number , based on number, display fact on corresponding row. have number need way data specific row database. plz help.. thanks

you cannot retrieve record sql server row number unless field in database. there no concept of row numbers in sql.

you can retrieve random record following (different sql servers may different):

select * table order random() limit 1;

as alternative, create row number field, populate , select using that.
