windows - minimum internet speed required to access the remote app -
i have published remote app using remote desktop service , many users using application. there benching mark minimum internet speed required access remote app.
the answer no, there not clear benchmark. reason because rdp connection min requirements depends on many things:
1) the rdp protocol version - newer versions of protocol support different encodings of data transmitted
2) the app ran - amount of data different if playing sound / video vs having excel open , not doing anything
3) the hardware on both client , server - mentioned, different versions need hardware encoding / decoding. rdp protocol trying self-adjust , best level current status (see network bar @ top)
4) other network attributes (i.e.: packet loss, number of hops etc.) - might have fast internet connection google, not rdp server. then, might on wireless, while have 100mbps @ router, have packet loss.
5) other ad-hoc factors
