java - How to make a BufferedImage out of other BufferedImage's? -

i'm trying make first game on java seem running problem: drops 60fps down 13-21.. , problem occurring in section of code. i'm trying take bunch of bufferedimage arraylist<bufferedimage> imagestorender, respective x,y coordinates on map1 drawn. idea want update game map new images have rendered it. fps not drop gradually: starts , stays between 13 , 21 fps whole time. possible way takes processing power? if so, there better methods? if not, how can fix problem? thank you.
