Sharepoint: Modify/Reset site collection permissions for user when AD properties change -


i not expert sharepoint , couldn't figure out if questions has been answered in so. so, please redirect necessary. thanks!

customer has sharepoint farm (syncs ad) purely oob implementation , no custom code. said, question - if user updated in ad (a property of user), can user's permissions on existing site collection, modified/reset automatically without manual intervention?

let's if

  • 1) user belongs businessgroup "group1" (ad) , user has "full control" sharepoint site collection "group1-sitecoll".
  • 2) user's businessgroup changed "group2" in ad.

in scenario, user permissions on "group1-sitecoll" should reset "viewonly" (or of sort) , user should given "fullcontrol" permission new sitecollection "group2-sitecoll"

how can achieved (automated, no manual intervention) without deploying custom code. ps or oob workflows?

any appreciated.

you can set permissions users or groups (both sharepoint , ad). based on ad properties can define audiences hide or display parts (typically webparts) in sharepoint ui. not equal permissions!
