c# - Xamarin creating "Xamarin Form PCL" app -

hi relatively new xamarin, , found project type called pcl imports of references need. when gets built doesn't seem come platforms simple solution seen below in picture. therefore means cant build platform shown in last image. don't know if have done in have create myself.

a pcl portable class library. , it. library, dll file.

so in project created there nothing run, haven't created actual app.

to so, in first screen choose in left pane app instead of library , pick 1 there. if not mistaken there pcl variant there well, in xamarin documentation differences in projects. create 4 projects you;

1. a pcl (like have now, shared code)
2. a ios app
3. a android app
4. a windows phone app

although seem running mac os, means won't able edit windows phone app. need windows that.
