driver - Hardware accelerated OpenGL on VxWorks 5.5 -


i need hardware accelerated opengl rendering on vxworks5.5 platform. after days of googling, confused following questions:

  1. stand alone mesa3d can software rendering on vxworks?( provided ported mesa3d vxworks)

  2. mesa3d combine dri can hareware accelerated rendering on vxworks? if so, need opengl hardware driver besides mesa3d+dri? (mesa provide gl apis , dri 1 implement concrete hardware rendering, right?)

  3. are there commercial solutions out there?

is possible upgrade vxworks? can refer documents see if meets requirement

if yes, vxworks 6.9.3.3 onwards, mesa driver supported wind media library also. can find detail info in wind river media library sdk programmer’s guide.

if have upgraded vxworks 6.9.3 update pack 3 or above, should have mesa directory in installation :

/components/windml-5.3/src/mesa-7.6.1

for more information on mesa driver wind media library, please refer wind media library sdk programmers guide 5.3 edition 3. chapter 3 building media library, under section 3.5.1 , chapter 8 on openxx applicaitons.

wind media library sdk programmers guide 5.3 edition 5 has information pertaining opengl es1, opengl es2, , open vg supported powervr drivers.
