certificate - silverlight cant get elevated permissions -


i know theres lot of info this, , spent 3 days (and nights...) reading , trying saw. still cant work

i have silverlight app thats supposed access wia scanning. on localhost works great in auto-generated silverlighttestpage.htm not have elevated permissions. try might.

things/steps ive tried

  • created test certificate sign xap file
  • double clicked said pfx file install in trusted publishers , trusted root certification authorities. install worked, still no elevated permissions.
  • ive set require elevated permissions in signing page , in out-of-browser settings
  • set allowelevatedtrustappsinbrowser regkeys 1 in 32 bit , 64bit
  • set updateconsentmode 1

i think sums steps necessary. still not working in tespage on local machine

please advise, im @ wits end
