oop - What is this common hierarchy mistake called? -


i'm sure remember specific term situation.

lets mr implementing flags. has 3 kinds of flags: new zealand flags, senegalese flags, , moldovan flags. of these flags can raised, waved, , turned cape. naturally mr begins implement raise(), wave(), , cape_ify() methods. unfortunately decides implement each method in each flag, rather have each flag inherit methods.

what name of mistake has mr made? i'm sure there term can't life of me remember it.
