perforce - Save password for P4 visual client -


i using below version of p4 visual client. everytime, launch client prompts me password. there way can set password (encrytped) env variable doesn't prompt me password . using windows 7 operating system.

version:: rev. perforce visual client/ntx64/2014.3/1007540

if server's security level 2 or lower, can store password in 'p4passwd' environment variable, not encrypted.

currently p4v not have mechanism store password within application, may wish consider submitting suggesting p4ideax:
