http - How are YouTube and Google accessing each others cookies? -


a lot of researching on stackoverflow told me getting/setting cookies other domains isn't possible.

but can see youtube.com doing google.com enter image description here

your first statement correct - not possible get/set cookies other domains.

that list of cookies shows set when viewed page, must remember page includes resources different locations (images , scripts). when script or image pulled different server, has opportunity set cookie well. although page on youtube.com caused of cookies set, has access ones on youtube.com.
