Android phone call activity launch race condition -


i avoid situation application launched right after phone call received on device.

the problem situation toolbar , bar on bottom disabled , phone call still ringing in background user cannot access used to.

the scenario can reproduced receiving phone call , launching application computer.

i afraid there nothing situation described.

also seems problem have nothing specific version of android, specific behavior of default phone call app pre- installed on nexus 5 android 4.4.x firmware.

as saw across different devices different android versions - notices behavior on nexus android 4.4.x . locks (with own system permission) status bar, , dismiss when phone call activity destroyed, instead of when been paused.

if behavior problematic you, can work around issue - listening phone state broadcast changes, , maybe decide prevent activity being launch in case phone ringing
