windows - mysql community server vs mysql installer -


i thought of upgrading mysql in system project when found 2 parallelly available downloads windows in mysql site. cannot figure out difference between mysql community , mysql installer.

mysql community available both 32 , 64 bit windows (both above 300 mbs) while mysql installer 267 mb 32 bit while 1.6 mb 64 bit (which looks web installer).

so extras there in community server (its size bigger) compared installer , if go windows installer, shall go 32 or 64 bit. need offline installer though.

my system specs:

windows 8.1 x64 professional
8gb ram

ps: did try google search cant find articles. found difference between community server , cluster.

moreover, half of batch mates running community server while half of them mysql installer. couldn't find of difference.

both install same final setup. web-community online installer, need download connect online server , installations files come online while community installer offline installer full features. web-installer (online, need internet connection complete installation), community-installer(offline, full).
